An international aid organisation.Läkarmissionen, internationally known as LM International, is an aid organisation committed to sustainable poverty reduction from a human rights perspective.
Our mission is to empower individuals to create sustainable futures while preserving planetary health for future generations. Our focus areas include food security and livelihoods, health and well-being, training and education, as well as water, sanitation, and hygiene.
Founded in 1958, the organisation currently employs over 500 people worldwide. Our primary target groups are marginalised communities and vulnerable women, youth, and children.
Our work is focused on Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe, and is coordinated from our global office in Stockholm. The organisation’s aid operations are funded through donations from the Swedish public and institutional grants.
